Congratulations to  Leslie Starr-Keating of Frisco who was named the Collin County Professional Woman of the Year by the Texas Business Women of Frisco. Leslie will be honored at a luncheon September 28th for the event open to the public. You can find out more information about the event and why she was chosen as this year’s honoree in this week’s newsletter. Erika and I are pictured here with Leslie and her husband, Frisco City Council member John Keating, at an event at Patriarch’s Sanctuary at Frisco Square earlier this year.

ABOUT US

The Frisco Community Newsletter was created in 2001 by Matt Lafata, a six-year former Frisco City Council member. The popular grass-roots publication is the largest of its kind in Frisco and has grown to 41,000 subscribers who receive the weekly email blast containing community news and events in Frisco submitted by various individuals and groups. After the newsletter email blast goes out each Thursday night it's posted in the  archive section of this website. Limited advertising opportunities are available each week.  for more information.
